Allison and I took a drive and were amazed how big the fire was, it is estimated at 13,000 acres. It goes from about where Chris got his deer last year all the way down to about Nespelum. All of robs favorite spot is burned. The fire crews are still out putting out hotspots. I hope we get some rain before hunting? Here are a few pictures.

Very sad to look at! Were the cows safe? I know the deer probably escaped without harm~ Jerry mentioned the poor ole fences probably went up like kindling...Wouldn't it be nice if the town folks got behind the farmers to help build fences! It looks like the
entire hunting area burned. :(
Guess it could have been a lot worse, if it were houses up in smoke...
